Operational Consolidation Independent – Pioneer Fire Companies of Jenkintown We are pleased to announce a significant development in our commitment to enhancing emergency response services and optimizing operational efficiency. After thorough planning and careful consideration, the Independent and Pioneer Fire Companies of Jenkintown have decided to operationally consolidate the two companies. The fire companies will continue to operate out of their respective stations under the collective organization of the Jenkintown Fire Department, with the Montgomery County radio designation of Station 99. The Pioneer Fire Company will transition from Station 96 to Station 99A, while the Independent Fire Company will transition from Station 16 to Station 99B. This strategic move aims to strengthen our ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies within our community as well as into neighboring municipalities in coordination with our mutual aid partners. The consolidation will streamline resources, improve coordination, and foster a more cohesive and collaborative environment amongst our firefighting crew. We appreciate your ongoing support and trust in the Jenkintown Fire Department. Our commitment to the safety of the community remains unwavering. We look forward to serving you even more effectively as we embark on this new chapter together. Sincerely, |
